To read an explanation of this new term, try HERE. Esochology is a natural method of studying the Esoteric realms [MIND and Spiritual realms] within Man, from "within" those realms themselves. This is the only way to study the Esoteric realms of Man, by the way. Use of ones brain, which is limited to that which is physical, just can't help one "communicate" with the Esoteric realms whose vibrational realities exist beyond the physical universe. The concept that parts of oneself exist in entirely separate regions of Creation is a difficult concept to get ones arms around. Especially if one is trying to comprehend this concept by "thinking" .

What else is there but thinking? How about "intuition"?

What's the difference? Thinking is done with ones brain, and ones brain is physical, and as such, it is incapable of perceiving any energy other than physical energy. Intuition, on the other hand, is a faculty of ones Apapsyche [Operational Energy of ones Soul], and Apapsyche is yet another relatively new term. To read more about "Apapsyche", try THIS.

For some research on the subject, try Here.
Or another site Here.

The best way to study Esochology, is to do so in a class setting where one can take-in some of the subtle vibrational messages that are conveyed from the Esoteric dimensions of someone who has awakened "bits" of Knowledge from within him/herself. But this is an ideal setting, and we rarely have such an ideal opportunity.

What I have just written introduces several concepts that may be new to the reader. The concept of Esochology itself is, of course, is just one example. Having studied and incorporated the concept of Esochology for such a long time, it is somewhat difficult for me to remember that others do not have the same familiarity with this concept as I do. Another strange concept, at least in the West, is that of "vibrational message"? There are three separate dimensions or realms which make up the Whole Human Being, and each of these dimensions has its own unique vibrational reality. And not everyone is familiar with the fact that these realms are capable of communicating with one another at levels which are not physical, and thus, not capable of being perceived by ones brain, thinking, or ones physical senses. I refer to this subtle communication between these separate vibrational realms as DEC, or Direct Esoteric Communication. In the West, we know almost nothing about these subtle communications between people.

I do not currently have a place for conducting classes, and I miss this means of teaching. But until I find a facility, I must use the internet and my blogs to try and communicate with others. If you have a specific question, please feel free to email me with your question. I will do my best to answer as soon as possible. Let us refer to "Behavioral Science" and the oxymoron "behavioral psychology" by the symbol "BS&bp". BS&bp will refer to all forms of behaviorism and to the only curriculum allowed in colleges and universities today, and to the practices of all the tens of thousands who practice BS&bp.

The fact is, each human being has a MIND realm, and it is more important than you might imagine. It has the capacity to cause you to "think" whatever it wants you to think. Find this hard to believe? Most people who are unaware that they have a MIND and a brain and that the two are quite separate find it very difficult to believe that what they think may not be true.

Your MIND has what is known in the field of mental health as "Scotoma". Fritz Perls once referred to Scotoma as a "blind spot", wherein those under its influence are prevented from "seeing" or "hearing" certain things. What he did not add to this because he failed to comprehend it, is the fact that this Scotoma is a natural and primary defense mechanism of ones MIND realm. I refer to this defense mechanism by the symbol "DM=SI" [Defense Mechanism equals Subtle Insanity].

That is the DM=SI of your MND is capable of causing you to "think" certain thoughts by simply feeding what I refer to as "Delsional Thinking" (or D-Think) to the Left-Hemisphere of your brain, and with help from your Apapsyche [Operational Energy of your Soul], your brain is unable to differentiate this D-Think from its own thinking. In this way ones MIND is able to subtly cause one to think what ones MIND wants one to think.... and I refer to this as a bit of subtle insanity.

I know this sounds too bizarre to be true, but just ask yourself this question: Do I not often wonder where certain thoughts come from... because they do not seem to be congruent with the rest of my thinking ? Well, where do these incongruent thoughts, or thoughts that seem strangely "out of place" come from? And even more pertinent question might be this: Where do the thoughts that cause me to engage in some behavior that I really do not want to engage in come from? I obviously do not want to have such thoughts... and yet, they come to me and I have them?

If you have a better answer than the one I have developed after thirty years working with clients, students and myself... then I am open to hearing your answer. We in America are at a very clear disadvantage when our mental health system has been feeding us disinformation for over a century, and the main thrust of this disinformation is that ones MIND and Apapsyche are not important enough to consider in the study of Man. And if denied and ignored in the study of Man, these crucial dimensions of Man are also missing in the treatment we receive.

What would cause someone, especially someone in the position of mental health "expert" to deny two-thirds of who and what Man is? Would you believe what causes someone to deny two-thirds of Man is fear? Or that this fear is fully non-conscious to those within whom it is active? Well, believe it or not, this fear is what causes an entire field of study to deny the very thing they "think" they are studying. Now this is truly bizarre, is it not?

Can anything be done about this bizarre situation? I'm not sure anything can be done... other than perhaps pointing this strange situation out in writings like this one. I will enlarge upon this strange state of the mental health of America in following blogs.

Peace

James W. The simple reality is this.... unless one can discover what it is within ones own MIND that “causes” one to become addicted to something in the first place, no amount of “thinking”, or talking about ones addiction will eliminate that addiction.

What those trained in behavioral psychology fail to grasp is the basic fact that engaging in an addiction that is contrary to ones own desires or best interests... is obviously not a “choice” one is making intellectually. To presume that one is “choosing” to retain an addiction that is harmful to one’s life by “intellectual choice” is (pardon the expression) stupid beyond imagination... and would only be made by someone deep in denial of the Psychological processes operating within the normal human being.

Alas, anyone trained in “behavioral psychology” over the last century has been taught to both deny and ignore the Psychological processes within Man. This information may strike most readers as somewhat peculiar, at least in the way I have just expressed it. But the “denial” of those in mental health and what is now known as “behavioral psychology” is not a denial that the individuals in these fields are aware of. You see, there is a huge difference between what one “thinks” psychology might be.... and what Psychology actually is as subtly operating within each human being.

The difference between an intellectual “psychology” and the actual Psychology operating at levels within us that ones brain cannot perceive is vast.

The concept I am about to share with you is not an easy concept to grasp, even in the abstract. "In the abstract"? What does "abstract" mean in this instance? You are familiar with the term "Soul', since almost everyone is familiar with this term. But do you consciously realize that the term "Soul" has no meaning other than what it "might" refer to? No one, in other words, has ever seen a Soul, or is known to have proven that the Soul even exists... despite the fact that many people believe that they have a Soul. The term "Soul" refers to something we are unable to prove actually exists by physical means. The term "Soul" is therefore an "abstract" term in that it refers to something many of us believe exists.... even though we cannot prove by our physical senses that it really does exist. Other abstract terms are: God, MIND, Love, Heaven, Hell, Spirituality, etc.

There is a concept that greatly helps explain the mystery of the Soul, but this concept is itself mostly unknown. The concept is this: The Whole Human Being is composed of three simultaneously existing vibrational realms of energy, all separate from one another and all sharing the same time and space. Only one of these is physical... and thus, only one is capable of being perceived by ones brain and physical senses. The other two are the MIND and Spiritual realms, and the vibrational realities of these two realms cannot be perceived by our physical senses.

Does this mean that we are unable to access or experience these two subtle dimensions or ourselves? No, it only means that we cannot do so by using our brains and physical senses. We can access the MIND and Spiritual realms within ourselves, but we must do so using aspects of ourselves that are generally ignored and mostly feared. Both your MIND realm and your Spiritual realm exist within you these realms are actually are more "real" than your physical body.... but in "modern" America, we have chosen to follow those who deny these two important dimensions of Man. We deny the "Unknown" in Man as we mimic the denial of philosophy and science... and we allow mental health to eliminate the Psychology of the ancient Greeks right in front of us.

In the West, we have become so estranged from who and what we are that much of the social conflict we suffer is our own doing... and we don't know it.

In other words, take a look at you radio. Can you see the notes of the music or the words going into your radio? The radio waves enter your radio and come out in forms that your physical senses can perceive. But you cannot perceive the radio waves entering your radio. How is it you can accept the fact that there are radio waves, and you are unable to accept the fact that there are MIND waves or Spiritual waves? We watch the TV and accept the magical conversion of a set located in some remote area being placed on the screen in front of us... and yet we aggressively deny the fact that we have a MIND realm and a Spiritual realm within us that our brains cannot perceive.

What is the reason we would do this? The reason is fear. Because we have assumed the same patterns of denial of the Esoteric realms within us [Eso is Greek and refers to what exists within Man that Man is unable to perceive by his physical senses alone] just like the scientist does, we have forgotten how to use our intuition, our psychic insight, and we have forgotten who we are, what we are, and why we exist. We have forgotten, in other words, that we are Whole Human Beings and as such.... we are so much more than just our physical bodies. Having forgotten that we are a triad, we have come to non-consciously fear two-thirds of ourselves. We fear the MIND and Spiritual realms within ourselves simply because they are now "Unknown" to us.

The naturally occurring rise in ones Apapsyche [the Operational Energy of ones Soul] rather than being an occasion of great joy, has become a situation of intense fear. We have become so ignorant of our own processes going on within us that we now fear Knowledge as it seeks to manifest itself to our conscious awareness. It has taken me over thirty years to comprehend how we operate within ourselves in a most remarkable process by which the Whole Human Being converts the experiencing of this plane of existence into Knowledge. I refer to this fantastic process as the "Esotransmutation Process". For anyone interested in learning more about this "Process", let me recommend this web site that details this and many other concepts .

If you have ever watched a polygraph operator and watched the paper and ink stylus tracing lines upon the paper, you will have noted that the stylus moves in response to the questions being asked. What moves the stylus are subtle bursts of emotional energy, and the emotional energy is from your MIND realm. What operates our physical bodies is subtle emotional prompting of our MINDs. Your MIND can also feed thoughts to your brain, and your brain, being unable to differentiate these from its own “thinking”, thinks that these thoughts are its own.

I refer to the thoughts fed to the Left-Hemisphere of the brain as “Delusional Thinking”, or D-Think. I use the term “Delusional” because normally the thoughts fed to ones brain are intended to nudge ones thinking in one direction or another. The idea that ones MIND can actually direct and “control” ones thinking is, of course, aggressively resisted by those who believe they are in “control” of their lives. The notion that the MIND has such power is naturally denied by those who pride themselves on their intellectualism. And modern “behavioral psychologists” eliminate the issue of “control” by simply “thinking” of the brain and MIND as one in the same thing. Just fixate on the brain and deny the MIND, in other words.

My point in stressing the difference between the brain and the MIND is that without being acutely aware of this difference, one will naturally be vulnerable to ones MIND feeding ones brain D-Think that causes one to “deny” ones MIND. The ability of the MIND to do this has been observed in mental health and has been labeled as “Scotoma”. Scotoma was referred to as “blind spot” by Fritz Perls, in his book: In and Out the Garbage Pail.

The “denial” of [or inability to grasp] the concept of the MIND by many mental health professionals is not a denial of which they are aware. In other words, that they are in denial of their own MINDs is not something they are capable of “seeing” or comprehending. This denial is fully non-conscious to them. The denial is imposed by their MINDs upon their brains because they have an “Unknown” fear of what is hidden within their MINDs. Their MINDs automatically “protect” them from discovering what they unknowingly fear, in other words.

Does it not make sense, therefore, that these mental health professionals [non-consciously in denial of the MIND] would not be able to grasp the concept that the “cause” for a persons addiction would lie within a persons MIND... but would rather lie within the persons brain, and thus, the persons addiction is simply a matter of not “thinking” correctly? This Delusional Thinking is the basic view of “behavioral psychology”. Denial of the MIND is the natural result of a curriculum that teaches denial of the MIND by stressing intellectual thinking about behavior as the only means of discovering the cause for a persons confused thinking.

When none of those conducting courses on reducing addiction seek the Psychological causal behind addiction, we can expect that those taking the courses will also be deluded into “thinking” that they are “cured”.... and will, following their “treatment”, become dangerously depressed when they discover otherwise.

To deal with your addiction first seek to discover the "cause" behind your addiction.... and this will always be found within your own MIND realm. This process of discovery can be facilitated by a competent therapist, or a competent "Esogist" [someone educated in "Esochology", or how the MIND operates]. I have concluded that the mental health field is much too attached to fear of the Esoteric realms within Man to change. The solution was fairly obvious then that a whole new approach was needed for those people who were seeking help for conflicts within their MINDs. This is the reason I have introduced "Esochology", or the study of the Esoteric [MIND and Spiritual realms] within Man from within the Esoteric realms themselves. Esochology moves away from the fear of the Esoteric within us that keeps mental health stuck, and moves us to an educational approach to re-discovering who and what we are... and why we are. "Chology" is also from the Greek, and it means "a study of..." When we combine these we create "Esochology". This new term refers to the study of the Esoteric MIND and Spiritual realms within Man... from within these realms themselves... using what I refer to as "DEcommunication", or Direct Esoteric communication.

DEcommunication refers to a specialized use of ones intuition, which is a faculty of ones Apapsyche... another new term than uses the prefix "apas", from Sanskrit [which means work or working]. Apa is combined with the Greek term "psyche" [defined as "self, soul, and mind"]. I use Apapsyche to refer to the Operational Energy of the Soul [what the term "consciousness" might have originally been intended to refer to?]. Consciousness has been so broadly used that it no longer refers exclusively to the Esoteric dimensions of the Whole Human Being.

When I say "Whole Human Being", I am referring to the fact that the human being is composed of three simultaneously existing and yet separate realms of vibrational energy. From inside out these are: The Spiritual realm; The MIND realm; And the physical realm.

So, Esochology refers to the study of the cognitively "Unknown" realms existing with every human being which cannot be studied or even known by use of ones brain, thinking, or ones physical senses. Esochology was specifically coined to refer to a study of the subtle dimensions of the Whole Human Being which are specifically designated as the MIND and Spiritual realms within Man.

Since the fields of mental health and "behavioral psychology" specifically deny the Esoteric realms within Man, and insist that the brain is fully capable of knowing everything there is to know about Man, these fields remain basically ignorant regarding that which Esochology is designed to study: the Esoteric two-thirds of the Whole Human Being that represent the essential elements of Man that the brain cannot perceive.

A Goggle search of Esochology will provide the reader with a great deal of additional data.

James W. REALLY AN ALTERNATIVE?

The basic and essential reality with a typically trained mental health professional is that he/she has difficulty confining him/herself to the complete denial of two-thirds of who and what we actually are. That is, although B.F. Skinner, who was so intensely fearful of his own MIND realm that he [unknowingly] projected the Defense Mechanism of his own MIND realm as "behaviorism"... his own "alternative" to the Psychology of the ancient Greeks... not every mental health professional is quite as fearful as was Skinner. Therefore, the many "alternatives" offered by professionals over the last century have been subtle efforts to push beyond the limits placed upon "psychology" by Skinner, and his adherents.

Almost all of these have had one peculiar defining attribute in common however, and that is that all of them sprang from the Left-Hemisphere of the brain.... just where Skinner came from. The "desire" to move beyond the limitation of thinking and talking is in these efforts, but they just can't seem to make a successful leap into where Skinner, ET AL, unknowingly fear to go. The reason for this is a mind-bender and will be discussed momentarily.

The American Psychological Association is a huge fortress against the very "alternatives" put forth over the last century. Scotoma [Fritz Perls referred to it as "blind spot"] is most prevalent in those at the top of the association ladder. That is, the APA is peculiar in that those who do best climbing its ladder are those most fully insulated from the Esoteric realms within themselves, and thus in Man. This Esoteric is the "unknown" within us.

Fear of the unknown within Man is a condition that is naturally active in every single person [and fully non-conscious as well] save in those who have undergone an extensive program of psychotherapy designed to eliminate the deeply repressed misperceived traumata hidden deep within their MIND realms via personal psychotherapy by a fully competent psychotherapist.

Now, what percentage of the professionals in mental health does this apply to? Would you believe the figure for those having this absolutely necessary preparation might be as high as two per cent? The number of those who have talked about what the MIND MIGHT BE is quite high of course.... perhaps as high as 80 or 90%. So, absent an actual experiential Knowledge of what the MIND is, how it operates.... and what might be done to make subtle adjustments to it... what do 98% of mental health professionals do for those they "treat"?

They talk, and they "think" that by calling their particular approach to talking by a different name, that it is different. Do you know what this is? This is Delusional Thinking, and this is a Defense Mechanism of the MIND that is dedicated to preventing one from discovering ones MIND realm by "focusing ones attention upon people, places, and things OUTSIDE of oneself.... just as Skinner did in the early 1900's.

The reason 90%+ of mental health professionals do not realize that they are in fear of the "unknown Esoteric" within themselves is due to Scotoma. The reason they do not "see" this fear of the "unknown Esoteric" within their client/patient is Scotoma [not the client/patients Scotoma] but their own. The reason the licensing process has escalated to such an extent [making it just about impossible for anyone actually capable of providing competent psychotherapy to meet the purely Left-brain criteria] is fear of the "unknown Esoteric" within mental health from top downwards. Having no idea what "competent mental health treatment is or should be] those in "charge" have "compensated" for their fear of being "found out" by raising the hurdles of licensing higher and higher, engaging more and more people in the process... in order to spread the "RESPONSIBILITY" around as widely as possible. Again Delusional Thinking which is provided freely by the MINDs of all involved in the notion that by inconveniencing and burdening those seeking licensure they can hopefully discourage the incompetent from applying. The "joke" is that what they are doing is simply encouraging those whose own fear of the "unknown Esoteric" within themselves thrives on minutia and endless detail for their brains to "think" about. Those least likely to allow any natural psychic ability to sneak into their work.

If any of those "in charge" could be brave enough to face their own fear of the unknown [but first they would have to discover they have this fear] they would allow a competent psychotherapist to evaluate someone seeking licensure by observing the applicant in an actual session. In a session I can ascertain whether someone is competent or not. I think licensure for "counseling" is what all in mental health today should be licensed for. And "counseling" absolutely does not mean "psychotherapy" [and anyone licensed as a "counselor" who puts him/herself out as a psychotherapist would be tried and if found guilty, placed in prison for a minimum of ten years]. Does this seem harsh?

Would it seem harsh if you took your child to one of these inadequately prepared people for help, and the unknown fear within this person vibrationally broadcast his/her fear to the MIND of your child, thus exacerbating the fear within your child's MIND even more intensely?
And since this person is "seen" as an authority, the additional negative reinforcement makes helping your child even more difficult... even if a competent therapist could be found.

If licensure was competency based, then the licensing process for a psychotherapist would be relatively simple. It would be based on competency... period. But to do this, every college and university currently turning out "behaviorally" trained individuals [completely ignorant of the Esoteric realms within themselves] would have to change.... and change dramatically. Is this likely? Not really. Too much fear. But such a change would be a true "alternative".

Esochology is an alternative approach to dealing with the whole human being, which means all three vibrational realms which make up the whole of Man. To study the Esoteric realms within oneself one must do so from "within" these Esoteric realms themselves. How come? Because the brain is physical and your MIND is not. Your brain cannot perceive your MIND. And since the vast majority in "psychology" use the two terms interchangeably, their MINDs are doing what MINDs do, and that is to keep them from discovering there is a difference between the brain and the MIND.

What allows you to discover and experience your MIND realm is what I refer to as the Apapsyche ["apas" from Sanskrit, which refers to work/working, and "psyche" from Greek, which refers to self, soul, and mind [the Esoteric within Man]. Your Apapsyche has two aspects by which it operates. One is the Attn Aspect, and the other is the Awar Aspect. The Attn Aspect can instantly enter any of the three realms which make up the whole of Man by simply adopting the vibrational energy of the realm it is entering. The Awar Aspect is the experiencing faculty and it always follows that of the Attn Aspect.

So, to prevent a mental health professionals, or anyone else for that matter, from discovering the MIND, all the MIND has to do is to keep the Attn Aspect fixed in the Left-Hemisphere of the brain [which is physical, and thus the Awar Aspect cannot be aware of any emotional energy [the energy of the MIND]. While one is "thinking" one is effectively prevented from becoming aware of any emotional energy [e.g., ones MIND realm]. So, what do we know of those who think all the time? And, what do we know about all "talking" therapies? And what do we know about the basic tenets of "behavioral psychology"... that the whole point is to avoid the Esoteric within us is the answer.

James W. What can you do about it? I mean, what can you actually do about it? Maybe you can just "think" yourself through it?

If it was something you could just think through, and presto... it is resolved, then it would not actually constitute what I would refer to as a "conflict". What I define as a "conflict" is something that is causing you stress, an inability to focus or think clearly, and something that is causing you to lose sleep, and to be a bit concerned that you don't know what it is that is bothering you.

How do you "think" yourself free of something you can't even identify as to cause?

So, how about seeking professional help? Are you familiar with what passes today for "mental health"? If you are unable to ascertain what is troubling you, what will you answer when your friendly professional asks you" "What can I do for you today?" Which would sound to me like "would you pass the butter please?"

When you are seriously bothered, or what I refer to as "in conflict", and you have no idea what is wrong with you.... perhaps the last thing you need is someone asking you "Why are you troubled?". As though you know precisely the reason you are troubled.

May I suggest that if you are bothered... that you try something a bit different? Click on the following website [http://www.geocities.com/esominder] and just wonder through it for awhile. Esochology is the name of a new field of study that focuses on the Esoteric realms within you. These realms are your MIND and Spiritual realms, or areas of subtle energy that make up the "unknown" two-thirds of who and what you are.

The primary reason you are not already aware of these essential parts of yourself is that those sources we depend upon [somewhat foolishly] to inform us of who and what we are... do not themselves know the answers we seek. Another way to phrase this is... the unknown in Man naturally causes a subtle fear within Man... and, until one is capable of overcoming this fear, it keeps one from discovering the "unknown" within oneself. Apparently those who claim to be "experts" in regards to "psychology" [which initially referred to the "psyche", or self, soul, and mind in Man] are too fearful to even admit that they have no idea what lies "within" Man?

Unfortunately the West has been slavishly adhering to the fears of B.F. Skinner, and his "behaviorism" for over a century now. It is well past time that human beings be given the truth regarding themselves, and then each person can determine whether or not he/she wants to accept the truth, or deny it. As it is now, one has nothing but disinformation from a field of "psychology" dominated by those who [unknowingly] fear the unknown within themselves, and those who claim to be atheists... without any proof for their belief... save a non-conscious fear within their MINDs that causes them to deny the Spiritual realms within themselves.

The "unknown" two-thirds within us are the MIND and Spiritual realms, and our MINDs are dedicated to keeping this two-thirds hidden from us. That this is the natural role of ones MIND does not mean that this "habit" of ones MIND cannot be overcome. But doing so is not easy . It does begin with being exposed to the truth, which is the purpose of this blog.

Your brain is physical, and you MIND is not physical. Note where I am going here.... your brain is physical, and your MIND is not. Hummm... does this mean that, since your brain is physical, it might not be capable of perceiving your MIND?

Had you already figured this out? How very clever of you. You have achieved something that 90% [or more] of those in the fields of mental health and "psychology" have been unable to do. That is, realize that you cannot study your MIND using your brain. How can you.... if your brain is unable to perceive your MIND?

Is this obvious to you? Well, it is apparently not obvious to the fields of mental health, "psychology", and corrections, because each is dedicated to insuring that both the MIND and Spiritual realms within Man remain hidden, secret, denied, and ignored. If you do not believe me, try suggesting a program that is based on dealing with an offenders MIND... and see what happens. After twenty years of trying to provide a "FREE" pilot program to the Department of Corrections in the State of Washington... and always receiving the same response from some head "psychologist" that read: "we are already doing what you suggest"... I know the fears that dictate rehabilitation today.

The problem is.... "psychology" today teaches that the brain and the MIND are one in the same thing... and that it is only a matter of time until they "discover" the MIND in some hidden part of the brain. And you are paying for this silly research. This "delusional thinking" is a natural Defense Mechanism of the MIND within those who are unaware of their own fears regarding the "unknown" hidden within themselves.

So... if you cannot study your MIND using your brain... what do you use? This was a problem for quite some time for me. Since the concept of directly dealing with the MIND [or even realizing that ones MIND was quite separate from ones brain] was not known by those in the fields of mental health, and "psychology", there were no labels for doing so. After some years of working with clients and intuitively applying a "process" with no name... I decided to create some names that would apply to the process of discovery, and to the subtle and Esoteric dynamics within each person that could be discovered.

The highly Esoteric [unknown] and naturally occurring process within each human being that serves as the "whole determinant" behind what we might call ones "operational whole" is what I call the "Esotransmutation Process". This process involves ones MIND, ones Fate Karma, ones Soul [via its "Apapsyche"], and all of these work automatically within one as an integral "process"... we might refer to this "process" as ones known and unknown experiencing of life.

Much of ones personal life is unknown to one since much of it occurs at levels that are non-conscious to one. The Esotransmutation Process is not intended to be known by everyone because it isn't necessary that it be known... by everyone. But it should be known by those who present themselves as "experts" regarding the "inner workings" of the human being.... Don't you agree? Currently, our "experts" have little understanding of what it is that "causes" us to experience "conflicts" in our personal lives that are difficult, painful, or destructive of our health and welfare. That those certified to know these things do not... says what about our state of mental health and "psychology"?

The behavioral approach, which has dominated the last century of mental health in the West, is a way of denying the Esoteric within ourselves [this is unknown to them, of course]. This not only means that what needs to be discovered within ourselves remains hidden, it also means that all of us are evolving "within" while remaining "stuck" in denial without. The gap between inside and outside is widening, and we are suffering as a consequence. Some of us know this, and others are only aware of the consequences of such denial.

Ones "Apapsyche" is the Operational Energy of ones Soul. The reason ones Soul needs an Apapsyche is that ones Soul consists of pure Spiritual Energy that is absolute in nature. This means that ones Soul cannot be other than it is. This means that ones Soul, although "within" oneself, is at the same time "One with God" and has never not been One with God. It is the projected, or operational energy of ones Soul that sustains, experiences, and participates in "life". It is ones Apapsyche that allows ones Soul to explore and experience the Creation.

This is not at all comprehensible until one grasps the concept that the whole human being consists of three simultaneously existing realms of vibrational energy, and only one of these is physical... which means that two of these are not physical, and not available to ones brain or physical senses. This must be taken on "faith". At least until one is capable of raising ones consciousness [or ones Attn Aspect of ones Apapsyche] within oneself to actually experience this inner reality.

So, to use your Apapsyche, you have to learn how to do this... although, in actuality, you do this almost every day... you just don't differentiate the naturally occurring incidence of intuition with an action of your Apapsyche.

Every time you intuit something, the intuition is from your Apapsyche... and as soon as you begin to "think" about what you have intuited, it vanishes. The reason for this is... the Attn Aspect of your Apapsyche had to be in [at the level of] your Apapsyche in order for you to intuit.... and as soon as your Attn Aspect shifts back into your brain [the Attn Aspect has to adopt the energy of the physical plane... which means the Awar Aspect of your Apapsyche no longer resonates with the Spiritual realm] and the reality of the intuition vanishes. Three simultaneously existing, and yet separate realms of reality within the whole of each human being. A simple statement, but an extraordinary concept.

If this does not make much sense, it's probably because you are not aware that you consist of three simultaneously existing, and yet separate realms of vibrational energy. And the only way one can relate to all three realms is via ones Aspects of ones Apapsyche: the Attn Aspect, which can instantly shift from realm to realm by adopting the vibrational energy of the realm it is entering. The Awar Aspect always follows that of the Attn Aspect, and what the Attn Aspect is focused upon is what the Awar Aspect experiences. This has taken my entire adult life to comprehend, so do not despair if you do not immediately comprehend it.

For more research on this try" http://www.geocities.com/esominder

James W. The most important difference is the training each requires of students.

Esochology: In Esochology, students are taught how to access the Esoteric realms of MIND and Spirituality within themselves as required to even study Esochology.

Psychology: Students are taught to deny and ignore both the MIND realm and the Spiritual realm within themselves and to think about what psychology might be.

2. Knowing what the MIND is, and how it works is basic to helping people deal with it.

Esochology: The MIND is not physical, and thus cannot be dealt with by using the brain.

Psychology: The brain and MIND are the same thing, so let us think about what is wrong.

3. The Esoteric realms within Man cannot be accessed, nor effectively studied.

Esochology: The Esoteric within Man can be accessed, experiened, and effectively studied.

Psychology: The Esoteric realms within Man cannot be known, and thus are not important.

These three areas just begin to illustrate how truly different Esochology and psychology are relative to how they approach and deal with human beings. I say this principally because in my experience of trying to share the concept of Esochology, I have found more resistance than acceptance. The natural tendency of people to the "unknown" is to resist it out of hand... until they can slowly accustom themselves to what is new to them. Nothing wrong with this, of course.... but it does tend to discourage people with new concepts from sharing their concepts.

But over time, I have become fairly comfortable with having my new concepts resisted or rejected. The reason people naturally resist the "unknown" is that their MINDs [research "MIND" Here] automatically "protect" them from being exposed to concepts with which they are unfamiliar. This natural protective mechanism of the MIND is discussed Here. The reason for ones MIND "protecting" one from what one has not as yet "discovered" is a strange thing. At least it seems strange. Ones MIND automatically blocks what one has not as yet discovered within oneself from being seen outside oneself. One is not as yet "ready" to be exposed to certain things, in other words.

We Americans are not familiar with this natural process of the MIND, because modern mental health in America is largely unaware of the MIND, and how it operates. The reason for this is that the MIND is Esoteric. And Esoteric simply means not capable of being perceived by ones physical brain.... and thus, not capable of being "known" intellectually. And modern mental health in America is promoted as a process of intellectualism [or a process whereby the emotionality of the MIND is ignored and avoided by intensely focusing on a persons physical behavior, and what the person "thinks" about his/her behavior.

In the West, and in America in particular, the most important parts of ourselves, literally the Esoteric who and what of ourselves, have been denied, ignored, and neglected for the last century. The who and what of Man are the Esoteric dimensions hidden within each human being. We have consistently been told that these important parts of ourselves cannot be known. Within such a strong tradition of denial, for me to insist that these Esoteric dimensions can be known... is naturally resisted. And of course I am unable to physically "prove" that what I am saying is true, so I am "proven" wrong to those unable to exercise their Intuition.

Unfortunately, most people have bought into this practice of denying the Esoteric dimensions of Man, and people have failed to question those in positions we assumed were held by individuals fully knowledgeable of the "mental" dimensions they are licensed to help. As we move through this first introduction to Esochology, you decide whether or not you believe mental health professionals have been helpful or harmful relative to their responsibility for helping people?

Let us begin this initial discussion of Esochology by pointing out the most unusual aspect of the term. The prefix "eso" is from the Greek, and it means "within", and "chology" means a study of. What is unusual and revolutionary about Esochology is that it is a study of the human being that can only take place from "within" the Esoteric dimensions of the human being. Within the human being? What does this mean?

It means that Esochology is a peculiar kind of study because what it studies are vibrational dimensions of the human being that cannot be proven to exist by physical means. So, to discover the Esoteric dimensions of Man, one must use ones faculty of Intuition. And yes, Intuition is not something that is given much emphasis in education or in the field of modern mental health.

The fact is, both your MIND realm and your spiritual realm can be studied.... but not in the usual way we study things. We usually study things with our brains, and by thinking. We can't do this with the MIND and Spiritual realms because they are not physical. Although they are very much a part of us, they exist separate from our ability to discover them physically. But this does not mean that cannot be studied.

The whole human being consists of three simultaneously existing, and yet vibrationally separate realms of energy. At ones core is the Spiritual realm, and this core consists of what we call [NSgy] or Neutral Spiritual Energy. This is the Energy of ones Soul, and of God. From inside outward, the next Esoteric realm is that of ones MIND, and this is a very subtle emotional-level energy. An energy much too subtle to be perceived by ones brain or physical senses.... but not too subtle to be perceived by the energy of ones Soul. Finally we have the outside shell of the physical body, and the physical brain. And everyone is familiar with the physical dimension of Man.

Three simultaneously existing realms all share the same time and space. Only the physical body is involved in time, and this makes it subject to aging, and death. But, since we in America are unfamiliar with the Esoteric dimensions of Man, we pay much too much attention to the physical aspects of Man.

The discovery of how the Esoteric realms operate, and interrelate with one another, has required us to develop a number of new symbols, terms and concepts. One such concept is what we refer to as "Direct Esoteric communication", or DEc. This concept involves a study and usage of a specialized communication that the Esoteric realms use to communicate to one another, and from MIND to MIND. The Soul has a special faculty I refer to as the "Apapsyche" [Operational Energy of the Soul], and it communicates rather widely with all parts of Man. This part we refer to as the Apapsyche, which is the "Operational Energy of the Soul". Let me explain as briefly as possible the role of the Apapsyche.

The Soul consists of [NSgy] or Neutral Spiritual Energy. This energy is unique in that it is an absolute energy. It does not change, cannot be other than it is, and is "neutral". Being neutral, it cannot experience anything but neutral. Imagine this for a moment. How would the Soul experience pleasure, pain, happiness or sorrow? In order for the Soul to fully interact with the Creation, it was given a special energy, or "aspect" I refer to as the Attn Aspect, and the Attn Aspect can adopt the vibrational energy of the realm it is entering, and the same is true for the Awar Aspect, and what the Attn Aspect is focused upon is what the Awar Aspect experiences.

Apas [Sanskrit] means work, working; and psyche [Greek] meaning self, soul, and mind; or the Esoteric dimensions of the human being. The Apapsyche has two aspects by which it operates. One is the Attn_Aspect, and the other is the Awar_Aspect. The Attn_Aspect has the facility to instantly enter any of the three realms of Man by simply adopting the vibrational identity of the realm it is entering. The Awar_Aspect always follows that of the Attn_Aspect, and what the Attn_Aspect is focused upon is what the Awar_Aspect is experiencing.

So, we have a whole human being composed of four simultaneously existing, and yet separate realms or dimensions of vibrational energies, and the physical brain can perceive only one of those realms, the physical realm. Those who limit themselves to use of the brain to discover Creation are unable to discover the MIND or Spiritual realms within themselves. A part of ones Apapsyche is that of "Intuition". And ones faculty of Intuition is what allows one to access ones store of CDKA&EU [Conscience, Discretion, Knowledge, Acceptance and Empathetic Understanding]. These are the "Virtues" we human beings are slowly accumulating over many, many lifetimes.

I suspect this is sufficient for the introduction. Watch for the next issue.
Peace
Docjp

James W.
