WHY KNOWING YOU HAVE A MIND IS IMPORTANT...

For over a century now, the field of mental health has been aggressively misleading Americans regarding who and what they are in psychological terms. Let us refer to "Behavioral Science" and the oxymoron "behavioral psychology" by the symbol "BS&bp". BS&bp will refer to all forms of behaviorism and to the only curriculum allowed in colleges and universities today, and to the practices of all the tens of thousands who practice BS&bp.

The fact is, each human being has a MIND realm, and it is more important than you might imagine. It has the capacity to cause you to "think" whatever it wants you to think. Find this hard to believe? Most people who are unaware that they have a MIND and a brain and that the two are quite separate find it very difficult to believe that what they think may not be true.

Your MIND has what is known in the field of mental health as "Scotoma". Fritz Perls once referred to Scotoma as a "blind spot", wherein those under its influence are prevented from "seeing" or "hearing" certain things. What he did not add to this because he failed to comprehend it, is the fact that this Scotoma is a natural and primary defense mechanism of ones MIND realm. I refer to this defense mechanism by the symbol "DM=SI" [Defense Mechanism equals Subtle Insanity].

That is the DM=SI of your MND is capable of causing you to "think" certain thoughts by simply feeding what I refer to as "Delsional Thinking" (or D-Think) to the Left-Hemisphere of your brain, and with help from your Apapsyche [Operational Energy of your Soul], your brain is unable to differentiate this D-Think from its own thinking. In this way ones MIND is able to subtly cause one to think what ones MIND wants one to think.... and I refer to this as a bit of subtle insanity.

I know this sounds too bizarre to be true, but just ask yourself this question: Do I not often wonder where certain thoughts come from... because they do not seem to be congruent with the rest of my thinking ? Well, where do these incongruent thoughts, or thoughts that seem strangely "out of place" come from? And even more pertinent question might be this: Where do the thoughts that cause me to engage in some behavior that I really do not want to engage in come from? I obviously do not want to have such thoughts... and yet, they come to me and I have them?

If you have a better answer than the one I have developed after thirty years working with clients, students and myself... then I am open to hearing your answer. We in America are at a very clear disadvantage when our mental health system has been feeding us disinformation for over a century, and the main thrust of this disinformation is that ones MIND and Apapsyche are not important enough to consider in the study of Man. And if denied and ignored in the study of Man, these crucial dimensions of Man are also missing in the treatment we receive.

What would cause someone, especially someone in the position of mental health "expert" to deny two-thirds of who and what Man is? Would you believe what causes someone to deny two-thirds of Man is fear? Or that this fear is fully non-conscious to those within whom it is active? Well, believe it or not, this fear is what causes an entire field of study to deny the very thing they "think" they are studying. Now this is truly bizarre, is it not?

Can anything be done about this bizarre situation? I'm not sure anything can be done... other than perhaps pointing this strange situation out in writings like this one. I will enlarge upon this strange state of the mental health of America in following blogs.

Peace
